Brian M. Murphy

Brian focuses his practice in corporate/commercial law, real estate, and wills and estates, offering clients practical, results-driven advice. He works with businesses at every stage from start-ups to established enterprises on incorporations, reorganizations, shareholder and partnership agreements, business acquisitions and sales, and corporate governance. His real estate services span residential and commercial transactions, including purchases, sales, mortgages, refinancing, and commercial leasing. Brian also helps individuals and families protect their legacies through tailored estate planning and guides them through the administration process with clarity and care.

Brian earned his law degree in Dublin, Ireland, and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2011. Before relocating to Ontario, he built a diverse legal background in specialized medical malpractice and real estate law, and gained corporate compliance and anti–money laundering experience with one of the world’s largest financial institutions. After completing the National Committee on Accreditation requirements, he was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.

Outside of his practice, Brian enjoys spending time with his young family, often exploring local trails and conservation areas. He is a talented dog trainer who competes in dog sports, and he can just as happily be found on the sidelines watching his son play soccer or in the audience cheering on his daughter in theatre productions.
