Where We Started and Where We're Going
Boardwalk Law is the succession of a number of established law firms with community roots dating back more than 25 years.
Under the law firm McCabe, Filkin, Garvie & Hein LLP, one of our Founding Partners, Todd C. Hein, began his practice in the community.
In 2015, Todd C. Hein joined forces with James Lockyer to establish Lockyer + Hein LLP, a full-service law firm providing excellent client service in the Greater Toronto Area and across Ontario.
Now, in 2025, Boardwalk Law is committed to the goal of continuing on the roots of the past firms and growing with each and every one of its clients.
Our founding partners, Todd C. Hein, J. David Keith and Darren Frank have infused hard work, passion and an entrepreneurial spirit into the firm. Their commitment to client service and client relationships have formed the foundation and set the expectations for every member of the Boardwalk Law team.
